CHEMEC was established in 2000 as an engineering office for chemical measuring technology. We have many years of experience in the use of gas sensors for analysing bio-gas, particularly in the area of thermal conductivity sensors and electro-chemical gas sensors.
The thermal conductivity sensor is one of our core areas of expertise. This determines the methane and carbon dioxide concentration in interaction with the oxygen sensor. Our oxygen sensor is not damaged by carbon dioxide, and our hydrogen sulphide sensor does not have any cross-sensitivity to hydrogen.
Development of our first gas analysis device, the BC10. The thermal conductivity sensor works in conjunction with the oxygen sensor.
Market launch of the BC20. The graphical display shows the progress of the measurements over several weeks, with the option of automatic calibration. We increase the accuracy of the thermal conductivity sensor by means of pre-calibration.
The BC30 is available and offers maintenance by the CHEMEC team via the Internet. Our customers can replace defective components such as gas sensors themselves. This reduces the maintenance costs considerably. The device has up to eight measurement inputs.
The BC40 is coming onto the market: The BC30, now equipped with our new "Cebro" control unit. In addition to the possibility of remote maintenance, the Cebro has a 10" touch screen and comprehensive diagnostic functions for function monitoring. We can upgrade any BC30 to a BC40.
The BC50 is introduced. This is currently our standard device, with two measurement inputs and Cebro.
The BC60 supersedes the BC40. This device is specially coordinated with the needs of the industry, but is also used in agricultural bio-gas systems and municipal waste treatment plants.
