Reduction in service work –
due to remote access
We offer you the possibility to have the function of the device checked by us remotely. We can advise you on the parametrisation. If we determine a repair requirement, we will send you the suitable spare part, which can usually be replaced without any tools. This concept enables a significant reduction in service work, thus reducing your operating costs. On request, we will of course also carry out repairs on site.
Calibration / replacement of the gas thermograph
The gas thermograph does not require calibration. It regularly checks itself and independently carries out any necessary corrections. The composition of the sample gas does not affect the service life of the module. The module operates completely maintenance-free for four years.
The module then switches off and is replaced with a new one. The replacement costs approximately as much as replacing a conventional thermal conductivity sensor. You can replace the module yourself without any technical knowledge.

Calibration / replacement of the EC1 module (O2)
The typical service life of the sensor is 2 years. At the end of this period, the gas analysis device reminds you that the sensor needs to be replaced. You can very easily replace this yourself.
With the new sensor, you will receive a randomly generated rolling code that will tell the device that the sensor has been replaced correctly. Regular calibration of the zero point is recommended.
With the calibration module, the GAS system regularly checks the sensor status and indicates whether the sensor needs to be replaced.
Calibration of the EC2 module
(H2S, H2, …)
The calibration frequency is determined by the selected measurement range, the measuring frequency and the average measurements. Determine the average concentration of the gas to be measured for the appropriate measurement range. This should be an average of 20% of the nominal measurement range of the sensor: We recommend a nominal measurement range of 1,000 ppm for an average concentration of 200 ppm. Please also note the lower measurement range limit of the sensor. It is 5 ppm for 1,000 ppm. However, carrier gases may also require shorter calibration intervals and more frequent replacement of the sensor.

In our information sheet you will find detailed information on the calibration frequency of the sensors. With the calibration module, the GAS system regularly checks the current sensor status and warns you if the sensor wears out prematurely.
With the calibration module, the GAS system regularly checks the sensor status and indicates whether the sensor needs to be replaced.
